Our wedding will be held at Cilantro on the Lake, a stand-alone facility at the Emerald Lake Lodge, in Field, British Columbia, located in beautiful Yoho National Park. The date is set for the first of January, 2011. The ceremony will begin at 1:00pm. Cocktails will follow at 4:30pm, and dinner begins at 5:30pm--dancing to follow. The bar closes at midnight, but the party will continue for at least a couple hours more.
The historical lodge offers a true escape from the hectic pace of modern life--there are no televisions and no internet access in any of the rooms. There is no mobile phone reception in the entire area of Yoho National Park.
